Wan Li, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Wan grew up in beautiful Northwest China. She received her PhD in Molecular Microbiology from China Agricultural University, where she studied lipopolysaccharide modification and its effect on bacterial virulence and resistance to antibiotics. In the Jiang Lab, she is interested in (i) developing new technologies to identify novel antimicrobial targets, and (ii) studying bacterial pathogenesis and host-microbe interactions. Outside of research, Wan enjoys painting, jogging, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her friends. [Google Scholar]

Falguni Paul, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Falguni received her PhD in Biological Sciences from Florida International University, where she worked with marine cyanobacteria and characterized novel drug-producing pathways. In the Jiang Lab, she’s interested in applying genetics, bioinformatics and chemical tools to study microbial evolution and host-microbe interactions. Apart from doing science, Falguni loves traveling with her family.
